Zambia 1-1 Tanzania: Daka strike salvages point for 10-man Zambia

Patson Daka, aged 25, managed to secure a crucial equalizer in the 89th minute, rescuing Zambia and earning them a valuable point against Tanzania.
This result also highlights the trend of the 2012 champions, who have now drawn seven out of their last eight matches at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals.
Tanzania, considered outsiders in Group F, shocked Zambia with a goal in just 11 minutes. Simon Msuva, currently a free agent, showcased his skills by scoring a powerful strike from Mbwana Samatta's pass.
Despite Zambia's attempts to respond, they struggled to trouble Tanzania's goalkeeper in the first half. Zambia's situation worsened when defender Rodrick Kabwe was sent off before halftime.
Zambia's Patson Daka came close to equalizing, but his effort was saved by Aishi Manula. Both teams had impressive saves from their goalkeepers, but Daka managed to level the game with a header in the 89th minute.
This result leaves Group F wide open, with all four nations still in contention for qualification. A win for Zambia against Morocco, combined with a failure by the Democratic Republic of Congo to beat Tanzania, could secure them top spot in the group.
On the other hand, a victory for Tanzania would guarantee their progression to the next round.
